This position will work to effectively coordinate resources and gather
information for sales, Engineering, Operations, Senior Staff and Customers in order to
manage the opportunity pipeline to drive sales and close orders.


• Achieve dynamic revenue and bookings growth through existing products and new development (goals established during yearly budget cycle).

• Identify and recommend pricing to the Product Line Director and Regional Manager in order to maximize business margins and grow the business.

• Prepare “winning” proposals; those that are detailed, well written, organized and prepared in accordance with the customer’s requirements..

• Determine Future Business Opportunities (FBO)’s to pursue and those to pass on in order to appropriately manage limited Engineering Resources.

• Manage new product queries, projects and FBO’s to effectively to achieve growth.

• Ensure all projects and sample requests are completed to customer satisfaction.

• Monitor Ship Profit performance and maximize profit margins.

• Identify opportunities and develop strategies to meet goals of business plan.

• Review and update Business and Strategic plan for responsible product lines on a frequent basis to ensure actions and plans for near term and future developments to keep company viewed as the leader in the industry.

• Project future booking and work with the Site Manager to determine projected revenue based on FBO’s and Legacy business.

• Review bookings forecast provided by Regional Sales managers to verify accuracy.

• Identify potential and targeted accounts to develop new business and direct sales representatives to specific opportunities.

• Identify and communicate trends, technological advancements, potential threats to company business.

• Identify products and applications to promote efforts to gain new markets and market shares.

• Provides all required information for quote including pricing, proposed documents, new designs, lead times, drawings and exceptions.

• Work with Marketing to develop advertising, promotional materials, i.e. press releases, data sheets and catalogs to promote product and develop interest in company.

• Establish and nurture relationships with customers to ensure we obtain requests to quote and we win the business.

• Create Customer Presentations and host customer visits.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises up to five (5) Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors.


• Participate with Site Manager and Product Line Director, in preparation of all bookings and FBO information to complete monthly Vertical reviews.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by applicable manager
• Coordinates generation and distribution of monthly sales dependencies to assist in projecting revenue and income.


• Bachelor degree in a technical field or equivalent AND
• Five (5) years of related experience OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in Power Distribution/Power Subsystems, Power Distribution & Power Conversion
Sales and/or marketing background.
Qualifications Must have experience with Power Distribution & Power Conversion
